John commenced his helicopter flying career in the Northern Territory in 1987 mustering cattle for the Beebe Pastoral Company before moving to Papua New Guinea flying Bell Jetrangers and Hughes 500’s on mining sites for Pacific Helicopters.
John started Heliwork (trading as PremiAir Helicopters) in 2004 as primarily an agricultural spraying company flying Robinson R22s and later a Bell Jetranger on agricultural operations.
In 2018, PremiAir moved to Essendon Airport and commenced scenic flights, charter and photography flights using a Robinson R44 and Bell Longranger helicopter. Together with our business partners Red Balloon and Adrenaline, we have grown to become the largest provider of helicopter scenic flights in Melbourne.
John has accumulated over 8000 hours in command of helicopters and has a perfect safety record during this time.
